INTEGRATED PROJECTS

Exterran offers complete turnkey production and processing facilities incorporating in-house process design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, operation, maintenance and project financing.

Exterran’s Integrated Solutions offer value to our customers by combining our broad range of pre-engineered, modular, process products and systems with our extensive technical, project & construction management, and field service resources. 

These Integrated Solutions take the form of processing facilities such as:

  • Compression stations
  • Oil & Gas production facilities
  • Gas plants for dehydration, treating, dewpoint control, gas liquids recovery, and fractionation
  • CNG fueling stations
  • Power generation facilities

Exterran is unique in our combined capability to design, fabricate, install, operate and maintain our broad range of pre-engineered products, and this capability offers our Customer many valuable options.

Combining our full range of products and services allows Exterran to rapidly assemble and mobilize complete Gas Processing Plants, Early Production Systems (EPS), FPSO topsides, as well as onshore and offshore "wellhead to pipeline" production, compression and processing solutions.

 
The Jamshoro LPG Extraction Plant is the largest in Pakistan.
Case History: LPG Extraction Plant

In early 2004, Exterran executed a contract with Jamshoro Joint Venture, Ltd. to design, build, install and operate the largest LPG Extraction Plant in Pakistan.  

Today, the plant produces in excess of 450-metric tons of LPG and 90-metric tons of NGL per day while extracting 99% of propane from an inlet natural gas stream of 200 MMscfd.  The principal plant components include:

  • Turbo-expander
  • Cryogenic Process Operating at -90°(F)
  • Ortloff Score Extraction Process
  • 11,000HP of Compression
  • 2.5MW Total Power Generation
  • NGL & LPG Storage and loading facilities

The Jamshoro Plant is a prime example of Exterran's Integrated Projects concept, which includes our global design and engineering team and fabrication at four different Exterran facilities around the world, as well as fabrication in Pakistan to construct modules for the facility.

Exterran was responsible for the transportation, installation, commissioning and start-up of the plant, and is subsequently operating the facility for five years.
