Produced Water Treating

Produced water handling has become one of the major costs of operating oil & gas production facilities. Exterran specializes in solutions for de-bottlenecking production facilities that may be restricted in oil and gas processing capability due to excessive water production. Exterran’s Produced Water Solutions Team is responsible for the design and supply of systems for produced water treating, disposal, or re-use.

Exterran manufactures state-of-the-art produced water treatment systems based on the following proprietary designs:

• SkimClean™ Vertical and horizontal skimmer/degassers for removal of oil, gas and solids from water
• P-klone™ hydrocyclone separators for liquid/liquid, liquid/solid, gas/ liquid, and gas/solid separation
• CyClean™ vertical Induced Gas Flotation (IGF) units for removal of trace oil and solids from water
• QuadraCel™ multi-chamber horizontal IGF for demanding oil removal applications
