Management Team

Exterran has assembled a strong team of experienced professionals to guide its global operations.

 

Stephen A. Snider
President and Chief Executive Officer

Stephen A. Snider has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Universal (predecessor to Exterran) since the consummation of Universal’s Tidewater Compression Services, Inc. acquisition in 1998, and was appointed as Chairman of Universal’s Board of Directors in April 2006. He has over 26 years of experience in senior management of operating companies, and also serves as a director of Energen Corporation (a diversified energy company focusing on natural gas distribution and oil and gas exploration and production). Mr. Snider also serves on the board of directors of the Memorial Hermann Hospital System and as President, CEO and director of Exterran Gp LLC, the ultimate general partner of Exterran Partners, L.P. (a master limited partnership that is 51% owned by Exterran). Mr. Snider serves as an officer and director of certain other Exterran majority-owned subsidiaries.

   

J. Michael Anderson
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

J. Michael Anderson was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Universal (predecessor to Exterran) in March 2003. Mr. Anderson held various positions with Azurix Corp. (a water and wastewater utility and services company), primarily as the company’s Chief Financial Officer and later as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that time, he spent ten years in the Global Investment Banking Group of J. P. Morgan Chase & Co., where he specialized in merger and acquisitions advisory services. Mr. Anderson also serves as an officer and director of certain other Exterran majority-owned subsidiaries.

   

Steven W. Muck
Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources

Steven W. Muck was appointed Vice President, Global Human Resources and Health, Safety and Environment of Hanover (predecessor to Exterran) in July 2006, having served as Vice President, Latin America since May 2005. Mr. Muck joined Hanover in 2000 as Vice President, International Operations. From 1997 to 2000, he served as Vice President of Worldwide Operations of Dresser-Rand Compressor Services. In addition, he held positions in sales, marketing and operations with Dresser-Rand and its predecessor, Ingersoll Rand, from 1975 to 1997. Mr. Muck also serves as an officer and director of certain other Exterran majority-owned subsidiaries.

   

Daniel A. Newman
Senior Vice President, Supply Chain and Manufacturing

Daniel A. Newman was appointed Vice President, Manufacturing and Global Services of Hanover (predecessor to Exterran) in January 2006, having served as Director Global Services since May 2005. Mr. Newman joined Hanover in June 2004 as Director Global Engineering & Supply Chain. Prior to joining Hanover, he served as Vice President of the Central U.S. Division of Halliburton. Mr. Newman began his career as a manufacturing engineer with Halliburton and held a variety of positions with the company, including Research and Development Engineer, Global Product Scheduling Manager, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Director Global Quality, Global Manufacturing Technology Manager and Vice President Global Shared Services. He also serves as an officer and director of certain other Exterran majority-owned subsidiaries.

   

D. Bradley Childers
Senior Vice President, Corporate Development

D. Bradley Childers has served as Senior Vice President of Universal (predecessor to Exterran) and the President of the International Division of Universal Compression, Inc., Universal’s wholly owned subsidiary, positions he has held since July 2006. Previously, he served Universal in the positions of Senior Vice President, Business Development, General Counsel and Secretary beginning in April 2005 and Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary beginning in September 2002. Prior to joining Universal, he held various positions with Occidental Petroleum Corporation and its subsidiaries, including as Vice President, Business Development at Occidental Oil and Gas Corporation from 1999 to August 2002, and as a corporate counsel in the legal department from 1994 to 1999. Prior to that time, Mr. Childers was an associate corporate attorney in the Los Angeles office of Sullivan & Cromwell from 1989 to 1994. He also serves as a director of certain other Exterran majority-owned subsidiaries and is President, North America, of Exterran Energy Solutions, L.P..

   

Donald C. Wayne
Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Donald C. Wayne has served as the Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Universal (predecessor to Exterran), a position he has held since joining Universal in August 2006. Prior to joining Universal, he served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of U.S. Concrete, Inc. (a producer of ready-mixed concrete and concrete-related products) from 1999 to August 2006. Prior to joining U.S. Concrete in 1999, Mr. Wayne served as an attorney with the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, L.L.P. He also serves as an officer of certain other Exterran majority-owned subsidiaries.

   

Kenneth R. Bickett
Vice President and Corporate Controller

Kenneth R. Bickett has served as the Vice President, Accounting and Corporate Controller of Universal (predecessor to Exterran), a position he has held since joining Universal in July 2005. Prior to joining Universal, he served as Vice President and Assistant Controller for Reliant Energy, Inc. (an electricity and energy services provider). Prior to joining Reliant Energy in 2002, Mr. Bickett was employed by Azurix Corp. (a water and wastewater utility and services company) since 1998, where he most recently served as Vice President and Controller. He also serves as an officer and director of certain other Exterran majority-owned subsidiaries.

   

Daniel K. Schlanger
Senior Vice President

Daniel K. Schlanger has served as a director of Exterran GP LLC since October 2006 and as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Exterran GP, LLC since June 2006. Previously, he served as Vice President - Corporate Development of Universal Compression, Inc. in May 2006. From August 1996 through May 2006, Mr. Schlanger was employed as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch & Co., where he focused on the energy sector. Mr. Schlanger is also Vice President, Finance, North America, of Exterran Energy Solutions, L.P..
