Exterran, through its legacy companies in Exterran and Universal Compression,has successfully provided Process and Production Equipment for the Russia/CIS market for more than 12 years.  Exterran’s product sales into Russia include numerous Crude Treating Packages, Gas Treating Facilities, Compression, Power Generation and Primary Separation Production Equipment.

Building on this success, Exterran recently expanded its ability to further support the Russian/CIS market by opening a representative office in Kazahkstan and Moscow and increasing local staff. In addition, Exterran’s engineering and manufacturing resources in Houston, Texas, and Dubai, UAE, provide dedicated support to the Russian/CIS market.

Exterran also is working closely in an alliance with Schlumberger to provide surface production services and support.

Russia/CIS is an emerging market that holds substantial potential for all of Exterran’s products and services. 

China

Exterran is the largest provider of Compressor Packages and Gas Treatment Equipment in China with more than 140 compressor installations and more than 10 gas treatment installations.

Exterran equipment has been installed and operated successfully in all the major oilfields in China including: Bohai Field, Changqing Field, Dagang Field, Daqing Field, Karamay Field,  Liaohe Field, Shengli Field, Sichuan Gas Fields, Tuha Field, Tarim Field, Weizhou Field and Zhongyuan Field.

Exterran's Beijing Office has experienced sales and service personnel supporting customers throughout China. 

Recent major projects include:

• Two 3,500 kW gas-engine driven reciprocating compressor packages for a gas storage application in Dagang
• Two glycol dehydration units for CNOOC FPSO installations for the Bonan offshore Project
