Far East

In South East Asia, Exterran through its legacy companies in Hanover and Universal Compression, is well known as a major supplier of compressor packages, production equipment and gas treating facilities.

Compressor installations are located in Indonesia and Vietnam. In addition, Exterran has installed an LPG plant in Indonesia.

In Indonesia, Exterran has implemented several major projects, including:

• 2,200 hp gas engine driven reciprocating gas compressor sale for gas lift application at KF Platform, Natuna Sea, for Star Energy (formerly Gulf Kakap Ltd). The project also includes a maintenance contract.
• Two 250 hp electric motor driven reciprocating gas compressors for gas sales at Pulau Panjang, Pkl. Susu, North Sumatera for Costa Oil (formerly Japex).
• 1,200 hp gas engine driven reciprocating gas compressor for gas lift application at Pulau Bunyu, East Kalimantan, for Pertamina DOH Kalimantan.
• 300 hp gas engine driven reciprocating compressor for gas lift application at Kerindingan Platform, East Kalimantan, for Unocal Indonesia.
• Three 1,000 hp gas engine driven reciprocating compressors for inlet booster of LPG Plant at Kaji field, South Sumatera, for Musi Banyuasin Energy (MEDCO)
• 700 hp gas engine driven reciprocating gas compressor for gas lift application at STA Platform, East Kalimantan, for Unocal Indonesia
• Two 1,200 hp gas engine driven reciprocating gas compressors at Wunut Gas Plant, East Java, for Lapindo Brantas Inc.

Exterran also has installed two trains of LPG Plant and gas treating equipment for for Musi Banyuasin Energy (MEDCO Energi) and one 10 mmscfd dehydration unit with 1.0 mmBTU/Hr in the TEG Regen at Jatirarangon field, West Java, for Ellips Energy.

Exterran in Vietnam has installed and succesfully operated four 2,200 hp gas engine driven reciprocating gas compressors for booster application at Dinh Co. Project, Baria, Vung Tao. In addition, Exterran has installed an 800 hp gas engine driven reciprocating gas compressor for gas lift application at Ruby A Platform, Vung Tao Offshore for Petro Vietnam.

Exterran’s offices in Jakarta, Indonesia, has experienced service personnel to support customers throughout South East Asia.
